Kelly, I didn't actually mean to knock Tom for playing this. He was
just getting the crowd going by playing a few old favourites - just as
he used to do when he played the Grange Hill theme (a kids TV program
over here). I spose it's a reaction to the 'every record has got to be
only known to the cognoscenti' approach sometimes prevalent at these
events (tho not at the Big Chill).
Incidentally, the highlight of his set was Kirsty Hawkshaw singing her
Opus 3 hit (tho' she was jokingly cursing Mark and Tom for making her
do it!). Kirsty....swoon...
